second: how did you design the crotch portion? im going to make a Magikarp Kigu (hopefully this weekend) and that's the only part I can't decide how to do. Did you widen the bottom at all? did you use a modified pants pattern? just looking for a little insight, as I never took the time to inspect one of them
Aaaaawww~ Not only does the kugurumi sweatshirt itself look warm and comfy with that linen (inside-out) based fabric and deep violet colours but how you work it here, especially the casual pose and your smile really amps the overall warm charm to its fullest; sweet, friendly and positive, with nary a stressed or false note. Your hair here adds grace with a firm braid and streaked colour scheme reminiscent of MLP Princess Twilight's if nothing else. Natural photography helps define this shot with a tranquil, breathedly sunlit feel.
While overall style here is a contrast from your more bold & wholesome style such as seen in your Code Geass or See-U series (Which is still your best so far ), this is a more subtle, balanced approach to expression and blends everyhing seamlessly with some of the richest colour work I've seen in costume. And again, that honest smile. Just pure perfect.
thank you :'3 It's really fun to wear, i feel so warm and fuzzy XD haha the photo was actually a candid shot from the hotel room when i was talking with a friend, i'm surprised it turned out to well since i'm normally not that photogenic hhaha
I think sometimes candid shots tend to bring out the most honest expressions, and combined with the warm fuzzy feel of this cosplay is a perfect moment captured. Thanks a Lot both you and the photographer for this!
